sky3ds Anleitung und Review

The first Sky3ds review (English) is available in GBA,wrote by a tester. They shared some play experience about sky3ds and i made some summary and post here for sharing

Sky3DS Design

The connectors are protected with a grill, much like on an original 3DS cartridge, On the lip of the cartridge you can see three things – the microSD card slot (which is not spring-loaded, thus more reliable that its spring-loaded counterparts), a red plastic button for switching games and a blue LED light which signifies whenever the cartridge is switching games. On the front of the cartridge you can see the SKY3DS  flashcart logo ,see the pix here

Things you need to know about sky3ds flashcart

1.sky3ds only has 10 non-rewritable slots for games, if you want to play more games, you have to purchase another sky3DS cartridge,but i belive,the team will fix this problem soon,after all,they are powerful.

2.sky3ds need a special program to flash games onto TF card,the special program named ” Disk Writer Tool”.

3. To use sky3ds play 3ds games on v4.5+ 3ds sytem firmware,you need use diskwriter as well as Template file.The sky3DS DiskWriter tool is used to format, manage and flash games onto your microSD cards. The Template file is a text file containing TitleID’s and their SHA1 checksums. * Plug & Play, easy to use, Multi-rom support.
* Support any 3DS system version(including the newest V9.2.0-20J).
* Support all New3DS/3DSLL, 3DS/XL, 2DS consoles(US,EU,JP).
* Play 3DS game smoothly like a real gamecard(with all saving,load,online game, etc..functions).
* Compatible with any MicroSD 2GB, 4GB,8GB,16GB,32GB,64GB SDHC cards.
* Play up to ten 3DS games maximum for each flashcard (any game but 10 in total only).
* Region locking

Game running features

1.it’s completely plug and play and hassle-free from this point onwards.

2.There’s no fiddling with exploits, no worrying about SysNAND or EmuNAND – the cartridge just works, and that’s a huge advantage in my book. In this regard, the device is very user-friendly – anyone could use it.

3.Cycling the list of games is relatively quick – it takes aprox. 5 seconds for the cartridge to switch to the next game

Sky3ds pros and cons

Pros

+ Compatible with latest firmware to date (9.2.0-20)
+ Supports online gameplay without issues
+ Does not require a DS Mode flashcart for installation
+ Plug and Play use, no need for executing any exploit
+ Useful status LED indicating when the flashcart is busy
+ Confirmed to work on the New 3DS
+ compatibility all nintendo console with all firmware version.
+ supports multi 3ds roms

Cons

- It only has 10 non-rewritable slots for games, if you want to play more games, you have to purchase another sky3DS cartridge
- Does not support homebrew, cross-region games or eShop games
- Lacks a menu due to the nature of how it operates
- Relatively high price

The sky3ds team is keeping update the sky3ds,i think,later,there will be more and more attractive features of sky3ds avaialble,so let’s just stay tuned for more updated news.
